SDK Klimboom

Welcome to SDK Klimboom, our adventurous after-school care located in the lively Poortwijk district of Oud-Beijerland. We are part of SDK kinderopvang and offer a place where children aged 4 to 12 immediately feel at home. Our location is designed as a true world of play and discovery. The centerpiece is our life-size treehouse – hence our name – where children can climb, play, and slide back down via a slide. In addition to the treehouse, we have our own laboratory where children can conduct exciting experiments and a music studio for budding young artists. At the sand and water corner, creativity and fun take center stage. Outdoors, there is plenty of challenge as well: on our rooftop playground stands a large panna cage, and on the outside of the building, you’ll find a striking mega-slide for endless playtime fun. We provide both before-school (vso) and after-school care (nso) and collaborate with nearby schools. Our location has four groups: three for children aged 4–7 – Brulapen, Chimpansees, and Slingerapen – and one group for older children aged 7–12: the Gorillas. In these groups, children are given the space to explore their own interests in a stimulating environment. Our activity program, ‘Bso in Bloei,’ is specially developed to foster creativity and personal growth. During school holidays, we organize extra outings and special activities so children can gain new experiences and create unforgettable memories.
