Summary

This inspection report concerns an investigation for registration of childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) with Ms Schoutrop-Minten at Monseigneur Boermansstraat 33 in Venlo. The care takes place at the requesting parent's address for two children aged 4 and 6 on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. The inspection was carried out on 15 July 2026 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Limburg-Noord on behalf of the municipality of Venlo. This is an abbreviated investigation because the childminder was previously inspected on 18 March 2026 at a different address. All investigated quality requirements are being met. The childminder is affiliated with childminder agency Bambini a Casa, holds a valid first aid certificate until March 2028, and is registered in the childcare personnel register. The home is smoke-free, the indoor and outdoor spaces are safe and appropriately designed, and a risk assessment with action plan has been drawn up. The new mandatory requirement for coaching and continuous professional development (from 1 July 2026) could not yet be assessed due to the progressive build-up throughout the calendar year; the childminder has indicated she will participate in this.
