GGD Zuid-Limburg conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at toddler daycare Roelekeboel in Eijsden on 8 July 2026. The inspection was carried out at the request of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten following an application to expand from 32 to 48 childcare places. The inspection assessed the amendment application against all relevant quality requirements: general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation. On all aspects, it was established that the licence holder meets the statutory requirements. Following expansion, the accommodation will have three group rooms (totalling 248 m²) and an outdoor space of almost 279 m², which is sufficient for 48 childcare places. The toddler daycare provides subsidised preschool education through the programme 'Speelplezier'.
