About this care
Welcome to BSO de Annaschool, our only after-school care location in Vijfhuizen, housed in the charming former St. Annaschool building dating back to 1928 at Kromme Spieringweg 396. We provide care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. The site is within walking distance of primary school De Vijfsprong, with which we cooperate closely; children are collected there after school.
There is always something going on! Children can choose from organised activities, play independently (indoors or outdoors) or quietly do their homework. We offer a wide range of activities: lots of sports & games, creative workshops and cooking activities. Our rooms each have their own function: a movement room, carpentry workshop, creative studio and a fantastic play area on the upper floor.
During school holidays and study days we are open all day from 07:30 to 18:30. Together with the children we draw up a holiday programme full of fun activities, trips in the neighbourhood or further afield with our Les Petits bus. The nature garden of Vijfhuizen Park, known for the MH17 monument, is nearby. Here our children regularly plant new trees and enjoy the outdoors.
Flexibility is very important to us. Whether you don’t need care during holidays, want to skip only the middle four weeks of the summer holiday, or occasionally need a single BSO day: it is all possible. We are happy to work with parents to create a suitable care schedule.Read more

Summary
GGD Kennemerland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 5 November 2025 at after-school care (BSO) Les Petits Robinson BSO de Annaschool in Vijfhuizen. The location provides care for a maximum of 60 children aged 4-12 years in three fixed core groups. The pedagogical climate and personnel policy fully met statutory requirements: all staff members hold the correct diplomas, Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG) and language proficiency, and children receive stable care with a permanent mentor. Shortcomings were found on the theme of 'safety and health': the back-up supervision arrangement was unclear to the team and several practical risks (loose lamps, accessible kitchen with knives, unlocked stairwell, subsided sandbox canopy, use of extension cords and an unattended oven) were insufficiently assessed. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) therefore issued a recovery offer, which the provider immediately acted upon: the back-up supervision arrangement has been discussed and posted, the kitchen will be locked off, the oven safely placed, working agreements made for the gymnasium, and a handyman has been scheduled for structural repairs. Following recovery, the location once again meets all safety requirements. The municipal executive is advised not to enforce due to the already remedied violation.
