About this care
Welcome to Robbedoes Daycare, located at Sportparklaan 60 in Heel. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe, home-like environment. Our daycare started in September 1999 and is part of Kinderdagverblijf Robbedoes B.V.
At Robbedoes we work with one vertical base group of up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Within the group we distinguish between the youngest children (0-2 years, the Rakkers) and older children (2-4 years, the Boefjes), so we can match their needs well. All children can play together and learn from each other.
We offer pre-school education (VVE) through Peutergroep De Bengeltjes, with a program focused on language development, learning through play, and working with themes. In cooperation with primary schools we ensure a warm transition to group 1.
Our daycare is open Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM to 6:00 PM. We provide healthy meals (bread lunch, drinks, fruit) and stimulate children's development through free play, crafts, outdoor play, walks, dancing, and singing. Quality is our top priority: a safe, clean environment with challenging and educational play materials.

Practical info
Settling in
Before your child starts, an intake meeting is scheduled, combined with a practice visit. Your child is welcome to come play for two hours while you have a conversation with the mentor. This normally takes place in the morning from 9:00 to 11:00, or at mutually agreed alternative times.
Absence policy
If you go on holiday yourself, payment continues during the vacation period, as the place for your child is kept available. In case of illness or other circumstances at home, payment is also maintained. The daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) is closed on official public holidays, Carnival Monday, and the Friday after Ascension Day. For these last two days, you receive hours on a voucher card, which is valid for a calendar year.
Sick child policy
Please keep your child at home when ill, especially with contagious diseases. Your child must stay home in case of a contagious illness, fever from 39 degrees Celsius, or when appearing unwell. You can report your child sick by phone or WhatsApp at 06-40685213. If your child becomes ill during care (fever from 38.5 degrees Celsius), you will be called to pick them up. Paracetamol is not administered in the group.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Robbedoes in Heel provides care for 32 children in two groups and works with the VE programme Peuterplein. During the annual inspection on 9 October 2025, two violations were identified: the absence of a concrete description for transferring child records to after-school care (BSO) and an insufficient description of how a mentor is assigned. Both violations were resolved within the set timeframe following a recovery offer.
