Practical info
Settling in
Children aged 0-4 who are coming to the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for the first time are entitled to two settling-in sessions. The first settling-in session lasts two hours and the second settling-in session is three hours. The settling-in session can be scheduled once the signed contract has been returned.
Absence policy
When you cancel a childcare day in time (96 hours before the start of the session) via our Konnect Parent App, you will receive a credit for this absence. You can use this credit for a new booking in the same calendar year. For toddler groups (peutergroepen), different rules apply: due to the need for continuity in the toddler groups, it is not desirable to swap days and you will not receive an absence credit for a cancellation.
Sick child policy
You can report your child's absence via the Konnect Parent App. This is also immediately visible at the location. If your child becomes ill at the group, staff will contact the parent(s) by phone. If the parent(s) are not reachable, they will contact the child's known emergency numbers.
