About this care
Potje Knor Dommeldal KDV is part of Dalton Kindcentrum Dommeldal in Geldrop, together with primary school De Dommeldal. Our daycare centre is located at Beneden Beekloop 93C and offers care for up to 24 children aged 0 to 4 years. We operate in a single vertical group, where children of different ages play and learn together. This small-scale setup creates a homely and familiar atmosphere, with consistent pedagogical staff who know and guide the children well.
Our location is situated directly next to the primary school and is accessible via the school playground. Through a natural outdoor play area, children reach our daycare, where they can play in a safe and stimulating environment. We work thematically, aligned with the children's world of experience. These themes are coordinated with the toddler programme and the primary school, creating a continuous developmental line.
For children who will attend De Dommeldal primary school from age 4, there is already the opportunity from age 3 to get acquainted with school in a playful way. Toddlers can join the start group to familiarise themselves with the classroom, teacher and school routines. This ensures a smooth transition to primary school and provides extra challenge for toddlers who are ready for it.

Summary
Potje Knor Dommeldal KDV is a small-scale daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Geldrop with 24 places, located in a Dalton child center together with primary school De Dommeldal. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 2 December 2025. All assessed quality requirements were met: the pedagogical climate, safety and health, staff documentation and parental rights comply with the Childcare Act. The safety and health policy is up to date and adhered to; first aid and the domestic violence reporting protocol are in order. However, the inspector found that accidents and hazardous situations have not been consistently registered since 2021; the location has committed to reinstating structural use of this form. Furthermore, the CO2 meter is used on a rotating basis and it has been agreed that extra ventilation will be provided while children are sleeping. There is a working complaints procedure, parents are well informed and there is an active parent committee. No violations or recovery offers.
