A warm and trusted place for your child. At Kinderdagverblijf Toermalijn, children from 6 weeks to 4 years old are warmly welcome to play, discover, learn and experience adventures. We provide care in two baby groups (0-2.5 years), a vertical group (0-4 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years). In our homely baby groups, we create a calm environment with minimal stimuli, where babies can play, enjoy sensory experiences and cuddle. In the mixed and toddler groups, children receive more challenge and we encourage communication through baby sign language. In the toddler groups, we work with the Early Childhood Education method, which supports language development and social skills. Our childcare staff involve children in educational and playful activities, such as role play in the home corner or building in the construction corner. Mascot 'Snuf' experiences a lot here every day and helps toddlers explore the world in a playful way. We also play outside every day and have a special baby garden for the very youngest. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and secure, so that they can develop at their own pace. Healthy nutrition is a high priority for us, and we follow a responsible nutrition policy. At daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Toermalijn, we love cuddling, reading, singing, playing and being silly – and while doing so, we learn a whole lot!
