About this care
Welcome to KDV Pius X, located at Cuperstraat 7 in the centre of Bemmel and part of the Integral Child Centre Pius X. We provide daycare and early-years education for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe, caring environment. Our approach is built on the values of a ‘growth mindset’, trust and mutual reinforcement: every child is seen and supported to develop at his or her own pace. We work closely with Kinderopvang De Linge, giving parents a single point of contact for both toddler care and daycare services. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 52 weeks a year. Parents stay informed through the Parent Portal and have daily contact with our pedagogical staff at drop-off and pick-up. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Pius X in Bemmel was inspected unannounced on 17 April 2025. The childcare location meets all legal requirements: the pedagogical policy is clear, the pedagogical practice is warm and stimulating, and the preschool education programme Startblokken is implemented effectively. Key strengths include the safe, positive atmosphere, the committed guidance, the continuous pathway with the primary school, and the active parent involvement. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. One staff member does not yet meet the IKK language requirement but is being deployed as surplus staff until this is achieved. No recovery offer was necessary. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement measures.
