Kinderopvang Piccolini offers a unique and loving environment for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our pedagogical vision is inspired by the Reggio Emilia and Jenaplan approaches, in which we stimulate each child's creativity and give them the space to develop at their own pace.

- Incomplete overview of deployed staff, making it impossible to demonstrate compliance with staff-child ratios
- Group Wolkje: on 30 June 2026 only one staff member was deployed where two were required, and between 10:30-12:00 no fully qualified staff member was present
- Group Rainbow: on 6 July 2026 until 10:30 only one staff member was deployed where two were required
- Group Rainbow: on 7 July 2026 only two staff members were deployed where three were required
- On 2 July 2026 a trainee was alone at the location from 7:30-8:00 while children were present
- Supervision plans for three trainees lack written approval from the training supervisor
- One supervision plan also lacks written approval from the practical supervisor

Summary
On 14 July 2026, GGD Haaglanden conducted an unannounced follow-up inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Piccolini in Rijswijk. This inspection followed an earlier inspection on 1 April 2026 during which violations had been identified. The location, part of Kinderopvang Piccolini B.V., has two groups for a maximum of 26 children (ages 0-4). Although all staff members hold correct qualifications and meet the IKK language requirement, multiple violations were again identified in the area of staffing. The staff-child ratio was inadequate on several days, and trainees were not deployed in accordance with regulations. The violations have not been remedied. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement.
