Peutertuin Dol-fijn is located at Mariënbergweg 26 in the heart of Oosterbeek and offers a warm, small-scale preschool programme for children aged 2 to 4. We are part of Speelzaal Dol-fijn, an experienced organisation that has been providing tailored childcare and development in the Arnhem, Renkum and Oosterbeek region for many years. Everything we do revolves around learning through play in a positive, stimulating environment where your toddler feels safe and at home.
Our programme is clearly structured and dovetails seamlessly with primary school, yet is fully geared to the toddler level. Each morning starts at 8.30 a.m. and runs until 2.00 p.m. During this time we explore changing themes that stimulate your child’s five areas of development: emotional, creative, social, motor and language skills. We sing, dance, craft and tell stories. Music and language receive extra attention, because toddlers learn best by doing, feeling and experiencing.
Our spacious, loving playroom invites children to play and discover together. We work in small, same-age groups with a maximum of 24 children per day, so every child receives the attention they deserve. Our experienced pedagogical staff know each child and respond consciously to individual needs. If your toddler needs extra support, for example with language delay, we call in appropriate help through our network of specialists in the region.
Peutertuin Dol-fijn works intensively with primary school De Paasberg. This ensures a smooth, warm transition to primary education. Your child not only builds a solid foundation for primary school, but also learns to interact with other children and adults and to recognise and express his or her emotions.
