About this care
Peuteropvang ’t Heuveltje is located within primary school De Toermalijn at Nicolaas Beetslaan 1 in Driehuis. We provide care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. The location offers a cosy playroom and a private outdoor playground; during winter months we also use the school’s gymnasium.
Our staff implement the Startblokken pre-school education programme. Together with the children we create play-stories that support language development and social skills. All activities are tailored to the world of toddlers and match their curiosity and developmental level.
We work with horizontal groups: children of the same age are together, allowing us to fine-tune activities and guidance to their developmental stage. Parents choose fixed half-day sessions; additional care or swapping days is possible when space permits.
