About this care
Peuteropvang Waterlelie is located within the Waterlandschool in the De Gors district of Purmerend. We provide anthroposophical childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our mission is to create a safe and secure environment where every child can develop optimally.
Each morning follows a familiar, consistent structure. We sing together, play with natural materials such as wood, wool and cotton, do crafts, eat together and go outside. We believe that a child's own imagination is the best toy. By using simple, natural materials, we stimulate the senses and creative development of the children.
Our toddler care is part of the Stichting Kinderopvang Purmerend (SKOP). We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM. You can bring your child between 8:45 and 9:00 AM and pick them up again between 11:45 AM and 12:00 PM. We are closed on Wednesdays.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Waterlelie in Purmerend (anthroposophical toddler care for ages 2–4, maximum 16 children in one core group) was inspected unannounced on 30 October 2025. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) assessed the pedagogical climate and staffing/groups as sufficient; all assessed statutory requirements were met. The pedagogical policy has been elaborated concretely in a general plan and a location-specific work plan; staff members are familiar with the policy and discuss it regularly. During the quick-scan observation, children appeared emotionally safe, received attention for personal and social skills, and were engaged in norms and values education. The occupancy complied with regulations (12 children, 2 staff members), all employees are properly registered in the PRK and hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). Children have a maximum of three familiar faces and their own mentor; group size and use of space comply with the rules. No violations or areas for improvement were identified and no recovery offer (herstelaanbod) was issued.
