Welcome to Peuteropvang De Smurfen, located in Hoonhorst at Achter de Molen 14 in Dalfsen. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. The group is led by two qualified staff members who create a safe, positive and stimulating environment where each child can develop freely. Our toddler care is intended to provide young children with an enjoyable time under professional guidance and to respond to their developmental and exploratory needs. We work with the VVE program UK en Puk, where we work thematically on speech and language skills, social-emotional skills, motor and sensory skills, and early math concepts. Currently our VVE registration is temporarily suspended because we do not meet the legally required hours, but we continue to work according to the VVE program to provide children with the right stimulation. We work with a toddler tracking system and conduct observations to monitor each child's development. Peuteropvang De Smurfen aims to provide children with a safe foundation; a relaxed place where children can be themselves. Providing safety contributes to children's well-being and is the most important condition for making optimal use of the developmental opportunities we offer. Our opening hours are every Friday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Placement is possible from 2 years old and children do not need to be toilet trained yet. We work closely with parents and have a parent committee where parents can be actively involved in the operation of the toddler care.
