About this care
Peuterspeelzaal Ambacht is part of IKC Ambacht located at Chrysantstraat 7 in Vlaardingen. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and stimulating environment. Our toddlers work in small groups of maximum 16 children, ensuring each child receives the personal attention they deserve.
Learning through play is central to our approach. Children learn during their first years of life through play. We offer a rich learning environment where toddlers playfully discover language, mathematics and social skills. Our activities are tailored to the developmental stage of 2- to 4-year-olds and prepare them for primary school.
We work with a continuous line from 0 to 13 years. The connection between toddler care, education and after-school care is recognizable through shared themes. Our pedagogical climate is aligned throughout, providing children with a familiar foundation throughout their development.
Toddlers attend our playgroup two mornings per week. Every toddler aged 2 to 4 is entitled to at least 8 hours of toddler care per week. We work with fixed sessions to provide structure and routine.

Summary
Peuterspeelzaal Am bacht in Vlaardingen, part of UN1EK Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected on 26 February 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond. This concerns an annual inspection for 16 toddler places (ages 2-4) with early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie) according to Startblokken. All inspected quality requirements were found to be in order: pedagogical policy, pedagogical practice, early childhood education, deployment of pedagogical policy officer, certificates of conduct, domestic violence reporting code, duty to report/consult/file a complaint, and space requirements.
