Peuterspeelschool ’t Eimink is part of IKC ’t Eimink and offers pre-school care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. We work with two fixed groups that meet four half-days a week. Group 1 attends on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Group 2 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. When you register, you can indicate your preference for the sessions. Our pedagogical staff deliberately focus on language and speech development, playful preparation for primary school and strengthening social skills. The Public Health Service (GGD) visits our pre-school annually to verify compliance with the Childcare Act and the quality standards for toddler care. Summary
Peuterspeelschool 't Eimink in Hengelo is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 32 toddlers aged 2.5–4 years. The annual inspection on 17 June 2025 shows that the location meets all legal requirements. The pedagogical practice scores well: staff know each child, provide emotional security, and stimulate language and social skills. The early childhood education (VE) is also in order, with qualified childcare workers, the Piramide program, and a pedagogical policy officer. Staffing, Certificates of Conduct (VOGs), and training requirements are properly arranged. There was one point for improvement: the absence of a hand-washing station in the diaper changing room. Following a recovery offer, the safety and health policy was adjusted and approved. No violations. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
