Summary

Peuterschool De Kleine Uil in Grootebroek, part of Kappio, provides pre-school education to 15 toddlers (ages 2–4). During the annual inspection of 18 June 2026, a violation was initially identified: the calculation of the minimum required hours for the pedagogical policy staff member for pre-school education was incorrect. The number of children with a VE indication was missing from the overview, causing the calculation to fall 30 hours short (1,580 instead of 1,610 hours). Following a one-week recovery offer, the location corrected this. On 9 July 2026, the amended document was submitted and on 14 July 2026, an action plan to prevent recurrence. The violation has been resolved. Other areas such as pedagogical climate, staff qualifications and personnel register met requirements immediately. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
