About this care
Welcome to Peuteropvang Lieveheersbeestje! Located on the ground floor of Brede School De Weide at Loirestraat 9 in Purmerend, we offer a warm and safe place for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. In one horizontal group the children play, eat, dance, sing and craft together with peers. Every child is unique and receives all the space needed to develop at their own pace.
We follow the early childhood education programme Uk & Puk, using themes that connect to the children’s world and stimulate first steps in language, numeracy and social skills. Once a week the children enjoy ‘Gast op Gympies’, a gym lesson that boosts confidence, motor skills and language development through movement.
Our own playground features a sandbox, slide and ride-on toys. Regular outings with the push-car include a visit to the local bakery. Parents stay informed through the free OuderApp, sharing photos and daily reports. Warm meals and healthy snacks are included.
Being in the same building as primary school De Weidevogels and after-school care De Hooiberg ensures a smooth transition to group 1. Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Lieveheersbeestje in Purmerend was inspected on 9 January 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Zaanstreek-Waterland. The location, part of Stichting Kinderen en Ouders, provides care for a maximum of 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in one core group. The annual investigation showed that the location meets all assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: there is a pleasant atmosphere, staff members work sensitively and responsively, and there is considerable attention for language development. The reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse has been adequately established and staff members are well informed. The parent committee and complaints procedure also meet statutory requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The license holder has agreed to the report.
