About this care
Peuteropvang Schoolwoningen is located at Aalbersestraat 2 in IJsselstein and provides care for children aged 2 to 4 years. We operate in a horizontal group, where children of the same age play and learn together. Our location is situated within primary school De Ark, which helps ease the transition to primary education.
We use the recognised Uk & Puk method to stimulate children's development. Every six weeks, a new theme is introduced, within which we work playfully on language skills, social-emotional and motor development. We sing songs, read aloud, do crafts, draw and regularly go outside. Our own outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities for discovery and play.
Peuteropvang Schoolwoningen is a VVE location (Early Childhood Education). Children with a VVE indication receive extra support in Dutch language development. We pay specific attention to speaking, listening and learning new words. This way, we optimally prepare every child for primary school.

Summary
Peuteropvang Schoolwoningen in IJsselstein, part of Stichting Kind&co ludens, was inspected on 30 March 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region. The location provides early childhood education to 32 toddlers (ages 2-4) divided across two groups. The pedagogical climate and staff and groups comply with the law. A violation was identified regarding safety and health: the hygiene protocol was not followed during nappy changing. Staff washed their hands at the kitchen tap rather than at the designated tap at the changing table, and used reusable gloves for multiple children. Following a recovery offer, measures have been taken: the protocol was discussed in team meetings, the risk of cross-contamination was raised with staff and the technical fault with the tap was resolved. The shortcoming has been rectified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
