About this care
Peuteropvang Pinokkio Belfort is located at Ebenistendreef 90A in Maastricht and is part of Kindcentrum Belfort, a collaboration between John F. Kennedy primary school and childcare organisation Samen Spelen. We provide professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and stimulating environment.
Our toddler group follows the VVE programme ‘Speelplezier’ (Playful Joy). This Early Childhood Education approach fosters language, cognitive and social skills through play-based learning. We offer the programme in both a large and a small group setting, ensuring every child receives the attention they need. Toddlers spend their day exploring and learning, with fun and curiosity at the heart of everything we do.
We work closely with the primary school and other local partners. Regular interaction sessions between our toddlers and the school’s kindergarten children make the transition to primary education smooth. Our premises, near Belfort shopping centre, are easily accessible for families in the area.

Toddler daycare (peuteropvang) Pinokkio Belfort in Maastricht was inspected on 3 September 2026 by GGD Zuid-Limburg (Municipal Health Service). The toddler daycare accommodates up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years and works with the early childhood education (VVE) programme 'Speelplezier'. At the annual inspection, the requirements for pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights were met. Under safety and health, two concrete descriptions were missing from the safety and health policy: its accessibility for staff and parents, and the backup support arrangement. The holder made use of the recovery offer and had already resolved the deficiencies prior to the letter being sent. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
