About this care
Peuteropvang Klimaap is located at Noorderwoerd 2 in the centre of Schoonrewoerd and is part of Dichtbij Kinderopvang. We provide professional toddler care with pre-school education (VE) for children from 2 years old. In our carefully designed play area, up to 15 children have the space to play, explore and develop.
We follow the nationally recognised VE programme Opstapje and Peuterplus. Through themed play we stimulate language, motor skills, social abilities and independence. Our pedagogical professionals closely observe each child and tailor activities to individual developmental pace. We use the Pyramid method, ensuring your child gets the best possible start at primary school through play.
The centre is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm. During school holidays the toddler care is closed. Fruit and drinks are included; we naturally accommodate allergies. Our garden offers plenty of space for outdoor play and nature experience.

Summary
Peuteropvang Klim aap in Schoonrewoerd, part of Dichtbij Kinderopvang, was inspected on 26 January 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region. The location accommodates a maximum of 15 toddlers (ages 2–4) and works with the Piramide early education programme. The pedagogical climate and staffing and groups meet requirements immediately. Safety and health and parental rights meet requirements following a recovery offer. A recovery offer was made for two violations: fire hazard decoration hanging throughout the room (paper craftwork without KEMA certification) and the annual complaints report not being actively brought to parents' attention. Both violations have been resolved: the decoration has been removed and the policy has been tightened, and parents have been informed about the annual complaints report via the parent portal. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
