Peuteropvang de Rank is located within primary school De Rank in the heart of Vianen. We provide professional pre-school education for toddlers aged 2 to 4. The centre has two groups: a regular toddler group for up to 24 children and a smaller Peuterplus group for up to 7 children who receive additional developmental support.
Our programme follows the nationally recognised Piramide method. Themes are chosen to match the children’s world of experience and are offered through play. We observe each child’s development and tailor activities accordingly. The school gym and our own outdoor area give plenty of space for movement and exploration.
Our qualified pedagogical staff welcome your child in a safe, familiar environment. We are open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During school holidays the centre is closed. You can enrol your child for a minimum of two half-days per week.Read more

Summary
Peuteropvang de Rank in Vianen, part of Stichting Dichtbij Kinderopvang, was inspected on 20 January 2026. The location provides care for a maximum of 32 children in two groups: the Toddler Group (ages 2–4) and the Toddler Plus Group (ages 2–5, with youth care indication). All three investigated domains — pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation — meet the legal requirements. Early childhood education is delivered using the Pyramid programme, including LOGO3000 for vocabulary development. The staff members hold the required diplomas, VE certificates and language proficiency certificates. The location has a history of previous violations, including language requirements and pedagogical policy, but these have since been resolved.
