On 22 July 2025, GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted a registration inspection at peuteropvang (toddler daycare) Berenhuis, Kindcentrum Wij-land in Berlicum. The location provides subsidised early childhood education to 32 children (ages 2–4) in two core groups. The toddler daycare was already in operation without LRK registration, which had been tolerated due to potential renovation plans. Now that these plans have been cancelled, an application for registration has been submitted. The location meets all assessed quality requirements: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation. There was one violation: operation without prior inspection. This has been remedied by the current registration inspection. The GGD advises inclusion in the LRK.
