Toddler group 't Speeltreintje in Oostkapelle, part of Kinderopvang Walcheren, was inspected on 12 November 2025 by GGD Zeeland. It concerns a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with 16 places for children aged 2 to 4 years, located in an outbuilding of the primary school. The location offers early childhood education through the Uk & Puk programme. All assessed quality requirements were rated as sufficient: general terms and conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made. The only point of attention is an incidental inaccuracy in the parent portal regarding mentorship, which was communicated verbally.
