About this care
Peutergroep 't Carillon is located on the ground floor of primary school ’t Carillon at Geerpolderweg 34 in Gouda. We provide toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our toddler group is recognized by the municipality of Gouda and follows a continuous learning line with the primary school.
The toddler group is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM during school weeks. Learning through play is central: we let children discover a lot and develop their language skills through targeted activities. The location has its own toddler garden and there is close cooperation with the teachers of groups 1-2, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school.
As part of Stichting KMN Kind & Co, we contribute to equal development opportunities for all children. We offer early childhood education (VE) to identify and address any developmental delays early. Toddler group 't Carillon in Gouda, part of Stichting Kind & Co Ludens, was inspected on 31 March 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden. The daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) provides care for 16 children aged 2 to 4 years in one core group, located within a primary school. The inspection was an unannounced annual review. All assessed quality requirements across the domains of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health were fully met. No shortcomings, areas for improvement or violations were identified. The pedagogical practice demonstrates positive interactions between staff and children, with attention to emotional safety and social competence. The early childhood education programme Uk & Puk meets all requirements, including the deployment of qualified personnel.
