About this care
Peutergaarde is our toddler care location of HumanKind at Perengaarde 1 in Rozenburg. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years. The location is officially registered as a daycare center and works with a preschool program (VVE) focused on language development and learning through play.
Our toddler group is open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, except for Wednesday afternoons when we close at 12:15. We work in horizontal groups, with children of the same age playing and learning together. This creates a safe and familiar environment where toddlers can develop optimally.
As part of HumanKind, we provide professional toddler care that connects with the world of young children. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in their play and stimulate development in a playful way. We work closely with parents to ensure a smooth transition to primary school.

Summary
Peutergaarde is a small-scale pre-school care facility in Rozenburg for children aged 2–4, part of Stichting Humankind. The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 20 May 2025 shows that all inspected quality requirements are now being met. The pedagogical climate is good: children work playfully on language, numeracy, motor skills, and social skills through the Uk & Puk programme, parents are actively involved, and development is tracked digitally. The safety and health policy is up to date, staff members are familiar with the domestic violence reporting code, and there is always someone with first aid (EHBO) present. All staff members are registered in the Childcare Personnel Register and hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The previously identified violation (insufficient knowledge of the duty to report, consult, and file official notifications in case of suspected abuse by the license holder) has been resolved through additional training and internal communication. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
