About this care
Welcome to Partou daycare center Van Karnebeekstraat 6, located in a beautiful, characteristic monumental building in the center of Zwolle with a view of the Sassenpoort. Our daycare provides care for children aged 0 to 4 years in five groups: three small-scale baby groups and two toddler groups. Each group has its own space designed according to the children's age, with play corners that invite exploration and play.
Outside, we have a spacious city garden with natural materials where children can discover nature and enjoy movement. The garden provides plenty of shade in summer, allowing children to play outside comfortably. We regularly organize themed weeks that last two to four weeks, enriching our activity program. Additionally, we participate in events such as the National Reading Breakfast, Partou's annual Friends Week, Mud Day, and the Taste Safari. Every quarter, we offer a fun workshop for all groups.
Our location is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We work with a professional pedagogical team that stimulates children to develop playfully, safely, and confidently. Partou daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Van Karnebeekstraat 6 in Zwolle was inspected unannounced on 21 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) IJsselland. The childcare location, housed in a monumental building in the Assendorp neighbourhood with 52 places for children, meets all assessed quality requirements under the Childcare Act. The inspection evaluated the domains of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. All domains scored sufficient. The pedagogical practice showed strong points, such as attention to greater closeness with children through agreements about tablet use and the purchase of floor chairs. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The location has a consistent history of good inspection results, with sufficient findings in 2023 (partly due to a recovery offer), 2024 and 2026. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
