About this care
Welcome to Partou Daycare Eva Besnyostraat 491, located within the Integral Child Center (IKC) Laterna Magica in Amsterdam East. As part of Partou, we provide care for up to 68 children aged 0 to 4 years. We are open every weekday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Summary
On 28 August 2025, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted a follow-up investigation at Partou KDV Eva Besnyöstraat 491 (IKC Laterna Magica) in response to a previously identified violation in which children were cared for outside their fixed group (stamgroep) in order to meet the staff-child ratio. During the annual inspection on 15 May 2025, 4 children from group Groen were temporarily placed in group Blauw, causing the maximum group size of 12 to be exceeded. In addition, a 3-year-old child was routinely sent to school without supervision, which is not permitted. In response, the municipality of Amsterdam issued a formal directive on 22 July 2025. The follow-up investigation shows that the location has updated its policy: children are no longer moved between groups and are only sent to school for official transition days. Attendance records from 13 to 27 August 2025 confirm that all children were cared for in their own fixed group (stamgroep). No new violations were identified. The GGD advises that the report be noted for information.
