About this care
De Mare BSO is located in Kulturhus De Mare at Nieuwewemestraat 3 in Denekamp. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location works closely with the primary school in the same building, allowing us to perfectly align our activities and opening hours with school holidays, study days and school trips. This ensures a seamless transition between school and childcare.
Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can play, discover and relax after a long school day. We offer both before-school and after-school care, giving parents flexibility in using our services.

Summary
GGD Twente conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO De Mare in Denekamp on 18 May 2026. The after-school care (BSO), part of Partou (Smallsteps B.V.), accommodates a maximum of 16 children aged 4 to 13 years. The inspection assessed the pedagogical policy, pedagogical practice, staff, and groups. All assessed areas met the statutory requirements. The staff demonstrate respectful and sensitive contact with the children, there is a pleasant atmosphere, and children have considerable freedom of choice in activities. The guidance of older children (8+) was also found to be appropriate. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
