About this care
Welcome to Partou BSO Valkweg, located at Valkweg 2 in Sliedrecht. Our after-school care is situated within the Prins Willem Alexander primary school, ensuring a seamless transition between school and childcare. We cater to children aged 4 to 12 and provide care for up to 40 children per day.
Our opening hours are flexible and aligned with school schedules. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, we are open from 7:00 to 8:30 AM and from the end of the school day until 6:30 PM. On Wednesday and Friday, we start after school and close at 6:30 PM.
We believe in the power of a safe and familiar environment where children can relax, play, and discover new things. Each month, we focus on a new theme and organize fun workshops through our activity team, keeping the program varied and engaging.

The annual inspection of 10 February 2026 of Partou BSO Valkweg in Sliedrecht presents a mixed picture. The pedagogical quality is in order: there is a relaxed atmosphere, staff members work in accordance with the pedagogical policy and encourage interaction between children. The accommodation is safe and appropriately furnished with sufficient indoor and outdoor play space. However, two points of concern were identified. First, the location does not comply with the safety and health policy: staff members do not sufficiently remind children about hand hygiene, such as washing hands before and after eating. Second, a recovery offer was issued because the provider had not made sufficient efforts to recruit members for the parent committee; this has now been resolved as of 12 March 2026. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to take enforcement action.
