Welcome to Paddington day-care centre at Norgstraat 12 in The Hague. We are part of gro-up and provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe, loving and professional environment. Our experienced staff guide your child using the Piramide early-education programme, working with themes such as Summer, Art, Food & Drink and Housing. Strengths
- Pedagogical policy and early childhood education (Pyramid) meet all requirements
- Children's development is well tracked using the KIJK! system
- Staff members hold the correct qualifications and language proficiency
- Parents are actively involved in their child's development
- Partnership with Middin for social inclusion of children with disabilities
Violations
- Staff and groups: not all individuals (employees of partner organization Middin) are correctly registered in the Childcare Persons Register (PRK) and linked to the license holder; a permanent Middin employee lacked this linkage despite being present at the location
- Safety and health: the safety and health policy contains insufficient risks regarding sleeping and ventilation; in the Wasberen core group, ventilation cannot be carried out according to the indoor climate policy (no opposite windows/doors), the bedroom feels stuffy, the thermometer is broken, and there is no CO2 meter; this was also identified during the July 2025 inspection (repeat offense)
- Parent rights: on the toddler care Paddington website page, there was an incorrect link to inspection reports (linked to BSO Hamelen instead of KDV Paddington)

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Paddington in 's-Gravenhage, part of gro-up Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected on 24 March 2026 by GGD Haaglanden. The annual investigation shows a mixed picture: the pedagogical climate and early childhood education (Pyramid) meet requirements well, but three violations were identified. Two of these are repeat offenses. The location provides care for 52 children aged 0-4 years and partners with Middin for children with disabilities.
