Welcome to BSO Spring! Riiiing, school is out? Then the BSO begins! And what a BSO it is. A wonderful place, colorfully decorated with various play corners, a cool nature garden (we're quite proud of it) and a real art studio. A true Valhalla for builders, artists-in-the-making and junior Freek Vonkjes.
Prefer to chill out after a full school day? Sure, we get it. We share the building with the daycare, which is nice. Your child can stay in the same familiar place from small until 12 years old.
BSO Spring is there for students of KBS Petrus en Paulus, Montessorischool Breda and KBS De Eerste Rith. We are open from the moment school ends until 6:30 pm. On study days and school vacations we are open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Inside it's colorful and nicely furnished so children can play, dream, craft, grow and go on discovery with their friends. We have a view of the nature garden, where we love to spend time. Children go on adventures there, crawling through the tunnel to the mud kitchen and walking to the sandbox. It's like a real Indian village!Read more

Summary
GGD West-Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection at after-school care (BSO) Spring Op Stoom in Breda on 24 February 2026. The after-school care, part of Dorst op Stoom B.V., accommodates up to 20 children aged 4 to 13 years. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. The pedagogical practice shows a calm, warm atmosphere with responsive staff who encourage children's independence and social skills. The spaces meet the requirements, including a spacious outdoor play area of more than 400 m². No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The licence holder did not submit a response to the draft report. The advice to the municipality of Breda is: no enforcement action.
