Summary

GGD Limburg-Noord conducted an unannounced post-registration investigation on 29 June 2026 at OKC Weisterbeek BSO in Horst, an after-school care (BSO) for 100 children aged 4 to 12 years. The location commenced operations in a new building in May 2026. The inspection showed that the location meets all assessed requirements of the Childcare Act following the use of a recovery offer. One violation was identified: the administration of group placements, parental consents and actual facility layout were not always consistent, creating the possibility of care in three base groups. This has been rectified within the set timeframe. The pedagogical practice, accommodation, safety and personnel matters were otherwise in order. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
