OenKi Kindercentrum is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) located in the heart of Gieten, at Brink 18. We provide care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our centre has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 6 January 2015 under LRK number 796937606. O&Ki stands for Parent and Child; we aim to offer the best possible care for both. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 18:30. Summary

On 11 February 2026, GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at OenKi Kindercentrum in Gieten. The purpose of the inspection was to assess whether the location meets the requirements for expanding the number of childcare places from 30 to 40. The mini after-school care (miniBSO) will be merged with the junior after-school care (jongBSO), forming two base groups: a small group for a maximum of 10 children from group 1 and a larger group for a maximum of 30 children from groups 1 through 3. The location has sufficient indoor space (143 m², expandable to 153 m² after renovation) and outdoor space. The pedagogical policy has been adapted for the new situation. All assessed components meet the legal requirements.
