Welcome to Newkids After-School Care in Oud-Vossemeer. We provide small-scale after-school care for up to 8 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location at Burgemeester Versluijsstraat 18 has been registered in the National Childcare Register since February 14, 2024, under number 179358790 and is supervised by GGD Zeeland.
At Newkids, we work with mixed-age groups. All children from 4 to 12 years old are together, allowing them to learn from each other. Our pedagogical staff are professionals who work with heart and soul to create a trusted environment where your child can play and learn safely.
We understand that every family has unique needs. Therefore, we offer flexible childcare options. Before your child starts with us, we always take time for an intake. This way, we get to know your child and you well and can tailor the care optimally to your wishes.

Summary
Newkids is a small-scale combination group for children aged 0-13 in Oud-Vossemeer, located in primary school Die Heenetrecht. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the location on 7 May 2024. The center largely meets the quality requirements: administration, pedagogical policy, staff qualifications, child-to-staff ratios, domestic violence reporting code, accommodation and complaints procedure are in order. Strong points are the clear pedagogical plan, sensitive interaction by staff, sufficient space indoors and outdoors, and presence of first aid (EHBO) diplomas. Two areas for improvement were resolved through a recovery offer (herstelaanbod): the safety and health policy did not match actual staffing levels (back-up supervision arrangement) and parents did not receive the current policy and inspection report via the website. The holder subsequently sent both documents by email to all parents. There are no outstanding violations. The municipality of Tholen is advised not to apply enforcement.
