Summary

This inspection report concerns an investigation into an application for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang/VGO) with childminder Morman at Bakhuizen van den Brinkhof 108 in Amsterdam. The care is brokered by childminder agency Be Kind Gastouder Service and concerns a relocation in which the childminder continues the care in the new home of the requesting parents. On Mondays, 3 children (aged 2, 4 and 6 years) are cared for, with a maximum of 6 children occasionally when friends come to play. The childminder has several years of experience and is satisfied with the guidance from the childminder agency. The home is smoke-free and has sufficient play and sleeping space. The garden is not yet in use for the time being; outdoor play takes place on a grassy area with a trampoline and in nearby playgrounds. A backup care arrangement has been made with the neighbour. The risk assessment was recently carried out (15 January 2026) and the childminder is familiar with the safety measures.
