About this care
Montijn Daycare is a warm and welcoming childcare facility located at Koningstraat 5k in Beuningen. As part of Montessori Child Center Montijn, we work closely with KION childcare to provide quality care for 48 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our home-like environment gives every child the space to grow and develop at their own pace.
Our qualified childcare professionals provide personal attention and care every day. We follow the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori, encouraging children to discover and learn independently. Our location is designed according to Montessori principles with materials that match the developmental stages of young children.
As part of Montessori Child Center Montijn, we work intensively with the toddler group, primary school, and after-school care in the same building. This provides a continuous developmental line from 0 to 12 years. We offer preschool education (VE) to properly prepare children for primary school.

Summary
GGD inspection on 30 June 2025 of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Montijn in Beuningen, carried out following a request to reduce the number of registered childcare places from 48 to 32. The daycare center is part of KION Kinderopvang B.V. and provides care in two core groups: a toddler group and a vertical group, both with a maximum of 16 children. The inspection assessed the pedagogical policy, the stability of the care provision, and the accommodation. All examined aspects meet the legal requirements. The accommodation is spacious, safe, and appropriately furnished. There is sufficient indoor and outdoor play space available. The location has no violations or areas for improvement. The request for amendment in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK) is advised to be granted.
