About this care
Welcome to Korein Childcare Center Mondomijn, located at Abendonk 17 in the heart of Helmond. Our daycare facility is part of the integrated child center Mondomijn, where children from 0 to 13 years can find development, care and education. For the very youngest, we offer professional daycare (KDV) in a safe, warm and challenging environment.
At Mondomijn we believe every child has unique talents. Our childcare professionals provide personal attention and stimulate your child's development individually. We work from a shared pedagogical vision where collaboration, strength and getting the best out of each child are central. Your child's development is our priority.
Our location is housed in a modern child center that is open 52 weeks per year. We offer flexible childcare options from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, tailored to the needs of working parents. As part of Korein childcare, we work intensively with Mondomijn primary school and other partners to ensure a seamless transition from childcare to education.

- Safety and health policy is up to date and fully implemented
- All staff members, interns, and management hold valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and correct registration in the persons register
- Staff-child ratios are consistently met; fixed core groups and mentors are in place
- All 14 assessed staff members have appropriate qualifications and infant/toddler care certificate

Summary
Mondomijn in Helmond is an Integral Child Centre for children aged 0-13, operated by Korein B.V. The annual unannounced inspection of 16 September 2025 shows that the location meets the quality requirements for pedagogical climate and safety & health. One violation was identified: a Dutch-speaking staff member does not hold a valid 3F language certificate for all oral skills. The employee was immediately removed from the daycare group and is now only deployed at the after-school care (BSO); a recovery offer was made but could not be completed within the statutory period. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
