About this care
Welcome to BSO De Bonte Bende, located at Hulsestraat 1 in Sittard. We are part of MIK & Spelenderwijs and together with primary school Loedoes we form an Integral Child Center (IKC). This close collaboration with teachers creates one familiar place for children from toddler to teenager.
Children truly feel at home with us. They are greeted enthusiastically every afternoon and love sharing their stories. Our after-school care is divided into three age groups, ensuring every activity perfectly matches the child's developmental stage. The youngest children (4-7 years) play in a cozy doll corner or kitchen, while older children (7-13 years) retreat to their own 'living room' or discovery and relaxation area. Together we enjoy our craft studio, theater stage, kitchen and dress-up corner.
Outdoor play is of course part of the experience! We have our own outdoor space where children can romp to their heart's content. During holidays we go the extra mile with special activities such as barbecues, cinema visits, water games and even swimming lessons. Through us, children can even obtain their swimming diploma.
Our pedagogical staff know each child well and monitor whether they feel comfortable. We stimulate development through play and are always there for parents - because raising children is something we do together. We offer both before-school care from 7:30 AM and after-school care until 6:30 PM. During school holidays we are open from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
De Bonte Bende is more than just childcare: it's a place where children can grow, discover and have fun. Every single day.Read more
