About this care
Welcome to Marron Daycare Centre at Noorderstraat 9 in Dieren. We are a sports and nature-oriented childcare centre where warmth, attention, peace and a familiar place are central. With us, every child quickly feels at home in a homely group of 12 to 16 children, guided by a fixed, professional team. We believe that children grow in a safe environment at their own pace and that no child is the same – thankfully!
Our location on Noorderstraat offers an ideal environment for the development of children aged 0 to 4. We go outside as much as possible and involve nature in daily life. Nature naturally invites movement and experience. While playing, the children discover themselves, others and nature; together or alone. Our groups and outdoor spaces are designed in such a way that children find both peace and challenge and have plenty of room to discover themselves and their environment.
At Marron, the individual needs and personality of the child are central. We create a family situation in a homely atmosphere in which every child feels at home. Our stable team of pedagogical staff provides an environment every day in which children feel safe and valued. We work with fixed rhythms and offer a familiar structure that meets the needs of young children.

Summary
The annual unannounced inspection visit on 13 October 2025 to daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Marron on Noorderstraat in Dieren shows that the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The childcare accommodates 28 children (0-4 years) in two vertical core groups in a restored village farmhouse with spacious outdoor grounds. The pedagogical policy is implemented in a lively manner: during outdoor play, the children sing 'Op een grote paddenstoel' interactively, with each child putting on a gnome hat and sitting on a toadstool stool; language, speech, social and personal development are stimulated in the process. Staff members act sensitively and responsively, make eye contact, verbalise their actions, and provide closeness. All 10 staff members and other structurally present individuals (including trainees, reading grandmother, handymen) hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG), appropriate diploma, language certificate IKK, and infant first aid training. The staff-to-child ratio is in order at all times; for a maximum of 3 hours per day, operations may continue with fewer staff, provided at least half the required number is present. Children under 1 year have two fixed staff members, older children have three; parents find the name of the mentor and group structure in the parent portal. There is always someone with a valid first aid certificate present and backup supervision reachable by telephone within 15 minutes. No violations or areas for improvement identified.
