About this care
BSO Maliskamp is situated on a spacious outdoor site at Jos de Letterlaan 11 in Rosmalen. We provide after-school care for up to 38 children from primary school group 4 upwards. Our focus is on outdoor movement, sports, play and adventure. Children can let off steam on our safe outdoor grounds and take part in varied sports and games activities under the guidance of our pedagogical staff.
Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register under number 334355084 since 28 August 2023. We work closely with De Masten primary school and other schools in the Maliskamp district. Transport from school to the after-school care is arranged in consultation with parents.
As part of Kanteel Kinderopvang, we share the same vision: children are given every opportunity to develop through playful activities. We offer a safe and challenging environment in which children can relax after school and discover new skills. - The safety and health policy did not describe the risk of alcohol poisoning and lacked measures; alcohol was freely accessible behind the bar within reach of children
- The indoor play area measured 2.9 m² per child, below the legally required 3.5 m² (later 3.2 m² upon re-measurement)
Summary
After-school care (BSO) Maliskamp in Rosmalen, part of Kanteel, was inspected on 3 March 2026 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hart voor Brabant. The location provides care for a maximum of 38 children aged 7 to 13 years in a sports complex. All requirements were immediately met in the areas of pedagogical climate and staffing and groups. There were initial shortcomings regarding safety and health and accommodation, for which a recovery offer was issued. The location has resolved both issues: alcohol is no longer freely accessible to children, and additional indoor play space has been created. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
