GOB inZicht helps parents find small-scale, reliable childminder childcare (gastouderopvang) in a homely atmosphere, preferably in your own village. The agency mediates between requesting parents and carefully selected childminders who meet legal requirements and pedagogical quality standards. Parents receive personal guidance throughout the entire process: from intake interview and matching to support during the childcare period. The agency works transparently with digital hour registration and invoicing via Portabase.

GOB inZicht operates in the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe, with its home base in Niezijl in the Westerkwartier of Groningen. The agency mediates childminders from various locations in these three northern provinces. From 1 April 2025, GOB inZicht will also take over the activities of GOB SamSam, which may expand the service area.

GOB inZicht is a registered childminder agency (gastouderbureau) in the National Childcare Register. The agency meets all legal requirements of the Childcare Act and is checked annually by the municipal health service (GGD). Childminders are carefully selected and must submit Certificates of Conduct (VOG) for themselves and household members aged 18 and over. GOB inZicht is affiliated with the Disputes Committee for Childcare and Playgroups for complaint handling and follows an internal complaints procedure. The agency works according to a protocol for child abuse and transgressive behaviour.
