About this care
Welcome to Peuteropvang Het Lönnke Grut, located at Dorpsstraat 98 in the heart of Lonneker, Enschede. As part of Humankind, we provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. We are open Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM; Monday we are closed.
Our programme follows an Early Childhood Education curriculum (VVE) that stimulates toddlers’ language, numeracy, social-emotional and motor development. We currently use the Pyramid method and will soon transition to Startblokken. The rooms are arranged thematically—e.g., around the theme ‘hospital’—and offer plenty of play and learning materials that invite discovery and learning.
Co-operation with parents and schools is central. We exchange information with the Lonneker School and St. Liduina School through a ‘warm handover’ and actively involve parents via our newsletter and parent app, so they can continue the themes and vocabulary at home.
Children receive the best preparation for primary school in a safe, stimulating environment. We set tailored goals each year and continuously evaluate to safeguard the quality of our early education.Read more
