Summary

KDV Letterveld in Almelo, part of Stichting Humankind, was inspected by GGD Twente on 23 June 2026. The unannounced annual inspection shows that the location meets all assessed requirements. The toddler daycare (peuteropvang) accommodates a maximum of 16 children aged 2 to 4 years and is located in primary school Het Letterveld as part of IKC Sluitersveld. Daily early childhood education activities are offered through the Piramide program. The pedagogical climate was assessed positively, with a relaxed atmosphere and good interaction between staff and children. Two minor practical remarks were made regarding the storage of bags and the partial fencing of the outdoor play area, but these do not constitute violations. No recovery offer (herstelaanbod) was issued.
