About this care
Welcome to Les Petits daycare centre Juliana van Stolberglaan 27A in Aerdenhout. Our location is situated in a wooded, quiet neighbourhood and borders the Vondelschool with which we work closely. We have a spacious garden with a separate baby garden for the youngest children. We enjoy making trips in the beautiful surroundings.
Our daycare centre consists of three groups with 16 children each and one group with 12 children aged 0-4: the Shell, the Sea, the Beach Ball and the Fish. The groups are spacious and bright, separated by mostly glass walls, allowing for plenty of interaction between groups. Children can easily visit each other if they wish.
Each group has fixed pedagogical staff, so your child can build a good bond. Every child has their own mentor. Through our close collaboration with our toddler care and the Vondelschool, where we also offer after-school care, children can transition smoothly.
We offer only natural nutrition without added sugars, colourings or flavourings. All children eat a warm lunch at midday. Nappies and food are included. Our pedagogical staff are qualified and parents are kept informed through the parent portal and during regular parent meetings.Read more
Practical info
Settling in
During the intake interview, agreements are made about how the settling-in period will proceed. The settling-in period starts in principle on the first day of placement. On the first day, your child always comes for a half-day; either the morning or the afternoon. After that, this is extended to full days in consultation. How quickly this happens varies per child. Some children need a longer settling-in period.
Sick child policy
If your child is ill, it is in their best interest to stay at home. If you report your child sick before 9:00 a.m., you will receive credit points, which you can potentially use for extra care later. If your child becomes ill during care, we will call you to pick them up. We expect you to be able to get here within an hour.
