Summary

GGD Kennemerland conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection on 9 February 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Les Petits de Beets in Heemstede. The inspection assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, personnel, safety, accommodation and parental rights. The location meets all assessed quality requirements. Notably, the location is expanding with a toddler group for early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) from 1 March 2026. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made. The only points of attention concern a parent committee yet to be established (deadline within six months of registration) and some practical adjustments to the safety policy that have already been implemented, such as procedures for standing nappy changing and back-up contact numbers.
