About this care
Welcome to After-School Care Het Lachhotel, our BSO location in the Capelle-West district of Capelle aan den IJssel. Since January 1, 2010, we have been providing care for up to 70 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our building at Willem Barentszstraat 5 houses two cozy groups where children can safely play, relax and discover new things after school.
As part of gro-up Kinderopvang B.V., we work according to the same core values of our organization: reliable, involved and passionate. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give children a warm welcome and guide them in their development. We create a homely atmosphere in which children feel free to be themselves.
Our location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 181566308 and is supervised by the GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond. This means that we meet all legal quality requirements for after-school care. Parents can therefore apply for childcare allowance for our care.

BSO Lachhotel in Capelle aan den IJssel provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 70 children aged 7–13 in two groups. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 27 February 2025. All assessed quality requirements were met: the pedagogical policy and practice are well-considered and correctly implemented, staff hold the proper qualifications and Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), staffing levels comply with statutory ratios, and the safety and health policy is up to date and actively observed by the team. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The organisation received no recovery offer as everything was in order. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement action.
