About this care
Welcome to Korein Muggenberg, our green branch on the edge of Heeze, close to the forests. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a natural environment full of space for discovery and play. Our location consists of three groups: a baby group, a toddler group, and a vertical group where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together.
Nature is not only outside but also inside. Our spaces are designed with plenty of plants and natural materials, offering children a calm and inviting way to explore the world around them. Small animals like fish and snails are part of our daily environment, helping children learn about care and respect for nature through play.
Outdoor play is central to our approach. With the forest nearby and a large green outdoor area, children can go on adventures every day. Whether it's sunny or raining, we love to go outside. Boots on and off to explore! Outdoor movement is not only healthy but also stimulates curiosity and self-confidence.
At Korein Muggenberg, every child's development is our focus. We offer a safe, warm place where children can grow at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff closely follow the children and respond to their needs and interests. Together, we create a wonderful place to grow.

Strengths
- The pedagogical policy and practice meet all requirements, with attention to emotional safety, development of personal and social competence, and value transmission.
- All 7 staff members, trainees, and the pedagogical policy officer hold valid declarations of conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag/VOG) and are correctly registered in the persons register.
- Staff meet all training requirements, including baby-specific training for working with children under 1 and language proficiency requirements.
- Sufficient qualified staff are present; group sizes and composition comply with regulations.
- Safety and health policy is in order, including an up-to-date reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse.
- The location holds the 'Groen Cement' quality mark and makes conscious use of the natural environment for child development.
Summary
The annual inspection of 30 April 2026 shows that Korein Muggenberg childcare center in Heeze meets all quality requirements of the Childcare Act. The location, part of Wij zijn JONG, offers daycare (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) and after-school care (BSO) for 37 children in a green environment with the 'Groen Cement' quality mark. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. All areas met statutory requirements. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. The previous annual inspection (December 2025) did reveal a violation regarding up-to-date first aid (EHBO) policy, for which a recovery offer was made and successfully completed. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Heeze-Leende not to take enforcement measures.
