About this care
Welcome to Korein Avennelaan, our after-school care location located in primary school De Diamant at Avennelaan 17 in Someren. We provide after-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since August 28, 2017 under number 247690004 and is supervised by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost.
We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 15:00 to 18:30. During school holidays, we are open all day on these days with an extensive activity program. We pick up children from primary schools De Diamant and De Ranonkel using our own buses and taxis.
Our pedagogical approach focuses on well-being and engagement. Every child can be themselves with us and gets space to develop their own initiative. We provide a rich, challenging environment where children can choose what they want to do. Our pedagogical professionals look at what each child needs at that moment and stimulate self-reliance, so children can discover the world in freedom and safety.

Summary
Korein Avennelaan in Someren, an after-school care (BSO) for 40 children aged 4-12, was inspected on 29 June 2026 by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost (Municipal Health Service). The location is fully compliant with all quality requirements following a recovery offer. Six violations were identified: four concerning pedagogical policy (unclear staffing arrangements, contradictory group sizes, missing pedagogical rationale for deviating from staff-child ratios, and insufficiently described cross-group activities) and two concerning staffing (absence of a second adult when deviating from ratios and inadequate emergency backup arrangement).
