About this care
Welcome to Partou BSO Koppestok, located in the spacious and bright building at Koppestokstraat 38 in Utrecht. Our team is ready every day to provide children aged 4 to 12 with a welcoming place to relax, play and discover after school. We are open from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and also welcome children all day during school holidays and study days. At our location, daycare and after-school care are located under one roof, creating a familiar environment and smooth transitions. We offer a safe and challenging place where children can be themselves and where there is room for their own initiative. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and encourage them to discover new things. We work with fixed groups and attach great importance to a warm and familiar atmosphere.Read more

Summary
After-school care (BSO) Koppestok in Utrecht, part of Smallsteps B.V., was inspected on 6 November 2025 following an administrative order under penalty. This follow-up inspection was conducted after an annual inspection in March 2025 identified structural shortcomings: failure to act in accordance with the pedagogical policy and the safety and health policy, and unsuitable accommodation. The new location manager has since taken demonstrable measures. Three permanent staff members are now in place, pedagogical practice has improved with visible group rules and guidance during tidying up, and the group rooms have been arranged in a tidy and well-organised manner. For hygiene, a tightened cleaning structure has been introduced with daily checks and weekly evaluations. The soiled walls are being addressed through a painter's quotation. The violations have been sufficiently resolved.
